MYOB Solo is the latest app from old-school accounting software firm MYOB. It's a standalone product that works as a phone app (but not on tablets or on web) and is aimed squarely at sole traders and freelancers.

It handles expenses and invoices pretty well, but it has some pretty major gaps: there are no quotes, no online card payments and it's limited to one user - so if you have someone who helps out occasionally, or you want to give you accountant access, you're out of luck.
